2009 Entry Rules :

You do NOT have to be a guild member to enter quilts.

  1. Entry Fee: Florida Cabin Fever Quilters Guild members, and
youth quilts, no entry fee. Non-guild members, $7.00 per entry.
You will be directed to a PayPal payment screen during online registration. If you are paying by mail - make your check payable
    to FCFQG.

  2. For each single entry, complete the on-line registration form, or mail this completed registration form to: Darlene Arnswald, 884 Royalwood Lane, Oviedo, FL 32765, so that it arrives no later than December 20th, 2008. Non-members please enclose fee with registration form.

  3. Quilt Critique: FCFQG members may elect to have up to two quilts critiqued by a certified NQA judge. See Registration form to choose this option. Since time available will limit this service to 80 critiques -- requests will be first come - first serve basis. There is a $5.00 critique fee per quilt. Only two quilts may be critiqued per person. NOTE: To participate in the Mary Sorensen Hand Quilting Awards
you must have your quilt critiqued (Fee: $5.00).

  4. Quilt Sleeve: Each entry (except miniatures) MUST have a 4-inch wide sleeve stitched to the top edge of the entry. Quilts without a sleeve WILL NOT be accepted. Forlarge quilts, the top edge of the sleeve must be not more than 90 inches from the bottom
    of the quilt.

  5. I.D. Label: Each entry must have a fabric identification label sewn to the back of thequilt with owner’s name, address and phone number.

  6. Fabric Bags: Each entry must be enclosed in a separate fabric bag (pillowcase) with the submitter’s name clearly written on the bag. We suggest that you use a distinct color/style of pillowcase for faster verification at quilt return. If several entries, use same
color/style for each entry. At Take-In - we will pin on an ID tag
with your quilt number to the backside lower right corner of the
quilt and pin an ID tag to the outside edge of your pillow case.

  7. Display Duration: Entries must remain on display for the duration
    of the quilt show.

  8. The person entering the quilt must be one of the makers of the quilt.

  9. Entry must have been completed in 2007 or later and may not have been exhibited in a previous Florida Cabin Fever Quilters Guild
    show.

  10. Entries must be clean and free of odors.

  11. Entries may NOT be made from preprinted “cheater” panels.
